Stunning scenery and the attractions of three unique and great cities combine in this seven-day tour of southern Spain. You will be captivated by Seville with its great gothic cathedral, winding streets and hidden squares – and where flamenco thrives. Travelling east, Cordoba is the ancient capital of the Moors and is famous for the Mezquita, the largest mosque ever built.
On a smaller scale, you will find the city’s flower-filled patios are equally captivating. Then on to Granada set in the Sierra Nevada mountains – home of the Alhambra, another magnificent monument to Moorish invention and imagination and one of the world’s greatest buildings. And no trip to Andalucia is complete without making time for a thorough investigation of all the wonderful food and drink the region has to offer.
The price of this holiday is per person, based on two people sharing a twin room. Single rooms are subject to availability at the relevant supplement per person. The price includes six nights bed and breakfast accommodation as mentioned, all tours as mentioned, guided visit of the Alhambra Palace, airport departure taxes, executive coach travel in Spain, return flights to Malaga, and services of a Riviera tour manager. This morning we take the drive to Ronda and spend a few hours exploring this splendid town, before continuing our drive to Seville.
This morning, after breakfast we have a tour of this fascinating city, during the afternoon you are free to explore Seville at your leisure, and if you wish, take a cruise on one of the many river boats.
Having a free day today in Seville is a great oportunity to visit 'must see' places, if you fancy doing nothing The Maria Luisa Park is a great place to watch the world go by.
After breakfast we head towards Cordoba, spending some time here before moving on to the city of Granada.
Today we will have a guided tour of, Granada's extraordinary Alhambra which for many people will be the highlight of the holiday, and you will have time to explore the city as you wish.
