Tuscany embodies much of what Italy is famous for – history, culture, art, fine food and romance. Guided tours of Florence will show you the main sights of interest, like the Accademia where you will see Michelangelo’s David, and the many treasures of the Uffizi art gallery, but you will also have free time to roam its streets and squares at your leisure.
The eight-day tour also includes visits to smaller towns and villages like the medieval marvel that is Siena; Pisa with its leaning tower; beautiful Lucca, the birthplace of Puccini; and San Gimignano, which boasts a skyline of 13 13-th century towers. And don’t forget the beauty of rural Tuscany – gently rolling hills, lonely farms, iconic cypress trees and ochre valleys under brilliant blue skies…
