This holiday offers the chance to experience three fabulous but contrasting Spanish cities. Madrid – the capital city with the outstanding architecture of the Plaza Major and Plaza de Espana, and the great Prado and Reina Sofia art galleries, packed with the works of great artists. Salamanca – the home of one of Europe's oldest universities with a wealth of beautiful buildings created from local sandstone that gives them a gorgeous rose-coloured hue.

Toledo – the former capital of Spain, once the home of the artist El Greco and famous for the Alcazar Palace and cathedral. Your seven-day break allows you to appreciate what the cities have to offer, and there’s time, too, to experience the stunning Spanish countryside, smaller towns like Segovia and Aranjuez – and of course the delicious regional cuisine.
