Today we visit Salzburg, in the morning, we have a guided tour seeing all the principal places of interest then you are free to enjoy the afternoon exploring the city at your own pace.
This morning’s scenic drive takes you to Mondsee, Traunsee and Traunkirchen, we pass through the town of Bad Ischl and on to St Wolfgang, where we can relax in this delightful lakeside spot.
This morning we drive into the High Alps and visit the spectacular 17th century Hellbrunn Palace just outside Salzburg.
Today we commence our exploration of some of the world’s finest alpine scenery, seeing nature at its forceful best, the Krimml waterfalls where we have ample time to explore the park.
Today we enjoy another breathtaking journey, visiting Austria’s highest mountain – the Grossglockner, continuing up the twisting valley to reach the mighty Pasterze Glacier and the ‘Emperor’s Viewpoint’.
During your free day today, why not take the cable car up the Kitzsteinhorn, you could take a boat trip on the lake in nearby Zell or just a leisurely stroll around the village itself.
