There’s nothing like the romance of being at sea on a Tall Ship – the magnificent SPV Royal Clipper. This traditionally built ship allows us to sail close to the shore to allow views of the dramatic Mediterranean coastline. Starting from incomparable Venice, we visit the small Croatian port of Rovinj and the gorgeous island of Hvar, before sailing along the Dalmatian Coast to Dubrovnik, the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’.
Next we experience the alpine topography of Montenegro and then on to Corfu, Greece’s emerald isle. We soon reach the enchanting island of Sicily, anchoring in the Bay of Taormina and facing Mount Etna, before sailing up the Amalfi coast to the isle of Capri. At stylish Sorrento you can visit fascinating Pompeii. The 13-day trip fittingly ends with the glories of Rome.
Prices are per person, based on two people sharing a twin cabin with a limited number of single cabins available on all decks, at the relevant supplement. The price includes full board from dinner on your day of arrival until breakfast on your final day; if you choose to travel with us on any of the full day excursions by coach, a packed lunch will be provided. Anyone choosing to stay on the ship may of course have lunch in the restaurant; morning/afternoon tea and coffee; all visits and excursions as mentioned in the brochure, airport transfers, coach travel as mentioned, travel to and from port of embarkation and the services of a Riviera Travel Tour Manager.
