This April is kicking off with a bang on Netflix, with two of the most anticipated projects of the month arriving within the first week.

Andrew Scott stars in Ripley, a brand-new limited series adaptation of The Talented Mr Ripley. Meanwhile, Gillian Anderson, Billie Piper and Keeley Hawes head up Scoop, based on the book of the same name about the Prince Andrew Newsnight interview in 2019.

However, that doesn't mean there isn't plenty more to look forward to throughout the rest of the month, including the second part of Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon, the return of Heartbreak High and Dead Boy Detectives, based on the comics by Neil Gaiman.

Best Netflix releases from March 2024

Last month on Netflix also saw a host of big new releases, with series and films such as Spaceman, The Netflix Slam, The Gentlemen, Damsel, Young Royals season 3 and 3 Body Problem being added to the service.

Here's a list of some of the best new releases on Netflix in March 2024:

  • Spaceman (2024) – Sci-fi drama starring Adam Sandler and Carey Mulligan, about an astronaut with marriage troubles who is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time.
  • The Netflix Slam – Live tennis match between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, which took place in Las Vegas.
  • The Program: Cons, Cults, and Kidnapping – Docuseries about teens who were sent to a disciplinary school, exposing the horrors of the troubled teen industry.
  • Supersex season 1 – Italian drama about pornographic actor Rocco Siffredi.
  • The Gentlemen season 1 – Theo James and Ray Winstone are amongst the stars of this crime series from Guy Ritchie, a spin-off from his 2020 film.
  • Damsel (2024) – Fantasy film starring Millie Bobby Brown about a young noblewoman who discovers that her betrothed and his family intend to sacrifice her to repay an ancient debt.
  • Young Royals season 3 – The final season of the romantic Swedish teen drama romance.
  • Chicken Nugget season 1 – Korean comedy series about a woman who magically gets turned into a chicken nugget.
  • Irish Wish (2024) – Rom-com starring Lindsay Lohan and set in Ireland, about a woman who wishes to be the one marrying her best friend's fiancée instead, and wakes up the next day as the bride-to-be.
  • 3 Body Problem season 1 – Sci-fi series from the creators of Game of Thrones, about five friends who make earth-shattering discoveries as the laws of science unravel and an existential threat emerges.
