EastEnders airs Lee Ryan’s final scenes as Mick throws Woody out

Woody is shown the door following a fight with Mick

EastEnders has broadcast Lee Ryan’s final scenes as Harry ‘Woody’ Woodward. The Queen Vic’s temporary bar manager was seen being turfed out of the Walford pub after Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) returned home to find him in his bed with Whitney.

After decking him and throwing his clothes out of the upstairs window, Mick showed the newcomer the door. But not before Woody threw in a loaded comment about Mick being jealous of his closeness to Whit, while also making a sly reference to businesswoman Fi Browning (Mick, of course, being unaware of the fact that he no longer owns the pub).

Woody has been something of an unexpected hit with viewers thanks to Ryan’s likeable performance. But fans shouldn’t expect the actor and singer to be back in Albert Square in the near future. Speaking on Lorraine, Ryan revealed that he and his fellow Blue stars are working on new music:

“We’re going to Egypt this weekend to go a gig, and we’ve got a book coming out talking about everything that’s happened in our lives. We still do stuff, we’re always making music, music is part of my soul.”

Let’s hope he also finds time for a return trip to Walford soon…
