With only a few days to go until the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! campmates are thrown into the jungle to experience a diet of rice, beans… and kangaroo anus the ten intrepid “stars” are already having their mettle tested by Ant and Dec.
In order to avoid having to go into the jungle sooner than they have to, half the celebrities have been made to “walk the plank” off the edge of the Focus Tower in Surfer’s Paradise, a death-defying 32 storeys up. It is understood the contestants were split into two teams with the promise of a further night in a luxury hotel if they completed one of two challenges successfully.
A team consisting of Carol Vorderman, Ola Jordan, Jordan Banjo, Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas took part in the high-rise challenge, according to the Sun. And to make it even more scary, the soon-to-be-campmates reportedly had to step over gaps in the 10 meter-long platform before pivoting 180 degrees and walking back to the roof of the building to meet Ant and Dec.
It is not known what the other team are doing to win their place in luxury for another night – but it’s sure to be unpleasant!
