It’s only right and proper that a film about the BFG gets a giant trailer and the latest one from Disney is all about big dreams, big adventures and a big dose of cinema magic.
Steven Spielberg’s take on the Roald Dahl classic sees Mark Rylance step into the gigantic shoes of the BFG. There’s enchanting special effects, a good thump around the ears of kindness and a dazzling performance from young Ruby Barnhill as inquisitive 10-year-old Sophie.
It falls on Sophie to help the BFG, who has been cast out by the other giants. And it seems safe to say there’ll be a huge wave of love for this adventuring duo when the film hits the big screen. Just as long as we don’t have to eat Snozzcumber and Frobscottle instead of popcorn.
