Jay's relationship with Linzi is to come under scrutiny
Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) is under pressure in this evening's hour-long episode of EastEnders when he's interrogated by the police about his relationship with the underage Linzi.
Tuesday's episode saw 21-year-old Jay spend a night in the cells after police arrested him at his home at 55 Victoria Road.
Now he's set to face a grilling by investigating officers about what went on with his ex-girlffriend, who was recently revealed to be just 14-years-old.
Despite dumping her after discovering her true age, Jay could still face uncomfortable questions about the footage Linzi sent to his phone of her wearing new underwear, prior to the night they'd planned to spend together at a hotel.
Scripts for the BBC1 soap have made it clear that Jay did not sleep with Linzi at any time, but might he still face a jail sentence as a result of his actions? Find out when EastEnders broadcasts these scenes tonight from 8pm.
