Amazon’s drama, which follows transgender parent Mort, was recommissioned for a third season in June this year. It’s second season is yet to drop on the streaming service – fans will be able to watch from 11th December 2015.

The Ridiculous 6

Cowboy up for this Netflix Original Film, starring Adam Sandler, Taylor Lautner, Luke Wilson, Will Forte and many more more. When his long-lost outlaw father returns, Tommy “White Knife” Stockburn goes on an adventure-filled journey across the Old West with his five brothers. Watch on Netflix from 11th December.


A Very Murray Christmas

A Very Murray Christmas is an homage to the classic variety show. Bill Murray plays himself, worrying that no one will show up to his TV show due to a terrible snowstorm in New York City. It also stars the likes of Miley Cyrus, George Clooney and Amy Poehler, and drops exclusively on Netflix on 4th December.

How I Met Your Mother 

Find out how Ted met his future wife on Netflix, where seasons 1-8 are now available to stream in the UK. The sitcom, which stars Jason Segel, Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan, concluded last year; the perfect time to start watching all over again… 

How I Met Your Mother series 1 – 8 is available on Netflix from 3rd December. Series 1 – 9 is also available on blinkbox, Amazon Video and iTunes 


Lost River

Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut is now available on Netflix. It stars post-Doctor Who Matt Smith, as well as Cristina Hendricks, Eva Mendes and Saoirse Ronan. It received a mixed reception from film critics, so much so that there were both boos and cheers when the credits rolled at its first screening. Intriguing, no?

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Get in the festive spirit with this Disney family classic. The 70s classic, starring Angela Lansbury, follows the three Rawlins children, Charlie, Carrie, and Paul, who are evacuated from London, during The Blitz and end up going on magical adventures.

Still Alice

Julianne Moore won the best actress Oscar for her moving and powerful performance in this 2014 movie. She stars as Alice, a 50-year-old linguistics professor who is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease.

Pixels

The world is at war in new sci-fi movie Pixels. Extraterrestrials have misinterpreted video feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, and have invaded Earth. To counter the alien assault, the United States hire former arcade champions, played by Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad and Adam Sandler, to lead the planet’s defence…
