Downton Abbey really got into its stride this week as our Sunday night staple. There were tense exchanges over wedding venues, emotional worries for Lady Edith as the Drewes came back on the scene, good news for Anna and more clashes over the village hospital. Daisy tried to make amends and Thomas looked for pastures new. And Downton’s prize porkers made an appearance again…
A local farmer arrived at the Abbey to enquire about their entrants for the Fat Stock Show…
While Bates attempted to comfort Anna, who was still struggling without a child of her own.
Cora was sticking up for herself
While Robert wasn’t even bothering to try
In fact, he was getting attacks from all fronts. Poor chap…
Sexy stuff sorted, Mrs Hughes and Carson clashed over reception venues
Lady Mary opposed a new nickname
Lady Edith faced yet more heartache
And Anna shared some wise words
Oh and the pigs. They made another couple of appearances before the episode was out.
