Poldark is returning to our screens this Sunday in a revamp of the 1970s TV series based on Winston Graham’s 18th century romantic saga. Aidan Turner, best known for Being Human and The Hobbit trilogy, is taking on the title role. But fans just can’t seem to make up their mind about how they feel about the whole thing…

Many don’t seem to care when it’s on…

Not one tiny bit…

It looks like some will avoid their TVs altogether…

There’s zero interest in Aidan Turner in the lead role:

None at all:

It’s really just another Sunday…

People probably won’t even notice if it just disappears from the schedule…

They could probably have a stand-in for Aidan Turner and no one would be any the wiser…

No one’s even really talking about it…

Does anyone even know who Aidan Turner is?

No effort has gone towards supporting the actor…

There’s certainly no appetite for more than one episode:

Let’s all just forget it, shall we?

Poldark begins on Sunday at 9pm on BBC1
