Disney’s Frozen track Let It Go proved to be rather popular, didn’t it?

A year on from the snow-filled film’s release, the track – performed by Idina Menzel as animated character Queen Elsa – has won an Academy Award, been spoofed more times than most of us have had hot dinners and is currently featured on Vodafone’s Christmas advert.

But the film’s co-director Jennifer Lee admits she’s swapped from accepting praise for the film’s success to apologising for the song that, ironically, kids just can’t let go of.

“A year ago I’d meet people who, when they found out who I was, they’d say ‘Oh, we love the songs. We sing them all the time.’ Now they’re like, ‘Yep, we’re still listening to those songs,’ Lee tells The Hollywood Reporter.

“I’ve gone from ‘Thank you’ to ‘Sorry!’”

Although, with rumours circling that a Frozen sequel is already in the works, it could very well happen all over again.
