BBC1 is planning a far more testing ordeal for famous folk in a new series called 24 Hours in the Past.

Filmed in authentic locations over four days and nights, it will challenge six famous faces to travel back in time and spend 24 hours in the “gruelling, back-breaking, blister-inducing, vomit-worthy” Victorian workplaces.

Fi Glover – presenter of Radio 4’s The Listening Project – will make a rare foray in front of the cameras as presenter, RadioTimes.com can reveal.
