Well, as chance would have it, all of the above will be taking part in a special afternoon overseen by Mark Gatiss. In celebration of the 40th birthday of the London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard, the Sherlock co-creator will enjoy an afternoon in conversation with some of his friends – a list that also includes Bake Off presenter Sue Perkins, actress Miranda Richardson and magician Derren Brown (who recently played a trick on Amanda and partner Martin Freeman for Channel 4’s Stand Up to Cancer).

The event will take place on Sunday 16th November, with Mark and his guests answering questions submitted in advance. So, if you have a burning desire to hear about Sherlock, Doctor Who, Bake Off and more, submit your queries to markandfriends@llgs.org.uk in advance, indicating whether you’d like your answer to come from a specific guest.

The event will take place at The Criterion Theatre with all proceeds going to London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard.
