Peter Capaldi will appear in the first new episode of The Graham Norton Show when the BBC1 talk show returns on 26th September for its 16th series.
The new Doctor Who will be talking to Graham just after his sixth episode, The Caretaker, has aired, so there will be lots of plot to discuss.
Capaldi will be sitting on the sofa with Denzel Washington and actress Gemma Arterton. Washington will discuss his new film The Equalizer – a spin-off of the cult 80s TV series – about a former black ops commando who comes out of retirement to rescue a young girl from Russian gangsters, while Arterton is about to star in West End musical Made in Dagenham.
The first episode of Doctor Who aired on BBC1 on 23rd August to 6.8 million viewers overnight, which then consolidated into 9.17 million in the final BARB figures. Those numbers make Peter Capaldi’s debut alongside Jenna Coleman the most watched Doctor Who opener in four years.
We can’t wait to see what gossip Graham gets out of the Doctor…
