Among her various television gigs, Flack is well-known for being a host on the spin-off show of rival talent show The X Factor which will clash with Strictly when the first episode airs on Sunday 7 September.
Now she’s swapping one shiny-floored reality show for another as she whips on her dancing shoes.
“Ever since I was a presenter on CBBC and used to see the Strictly judges walking around Television Centre I have wanted to be on the show. I am so excited to get started and I just want to get through the first dance with no mistakes….plus I really want to master my ‘dance face’!” says Flack.
She joins Judy Murray, Mark Wright, Simon Webbe, Alison Hammond, Sunetra Sarker, Jake Wood, Frankie Bridge, Pixie Lott, Steve Backshall, Scott Mills and Thom Evans.
Strictly Come Dancing returns Sunday 7 September at 8:00pm
