It’s the launch show that sees the celebrities paired up with their professional partners, before the series goes off air again while they practice their dance moves.
The Sunday launch means a clash with ITV’s X Factor, which has a head start, onto its second week of the new series with the show still in the initial room stage auditions.
So which shiny-floored entertainment spectacular will you choose?
Pick The X Factor and you’ll be onto week two of nerve-riddled auditions, with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis Walsh, Mel B and Simon Cowell presiding on the panel. Opt for Strictly and you’ll get to see Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman launch their new presenting duo with a special appearance from Sir Bruce Forsyth and the new collection of contestants including Judy Murray, Mark Wright and the most recent addition, Pixie Lott.
Perhaps you’ll pick neither. Or record one and avoid any decision at all. Over to you…
