What if Michael Bay directed Disney Pixar’s Up?

It’s not adventure that’s out there, it’s explosions. Lots of explosions…

Take one sweet film about a widowed man trying to live out his wife’s wishes, a house that floats thanks to a whole lot of balloons and add an awful lot of explosions. Yes, this is what Disney Pixar’s Up would look like if Transformers director Michael Bay got his hands on the brightly-coloured tale.

With Bay in charge the house is no longer floating thanks to a bunch of balloons. Oh, no. This is “the greatest advance in modern science since the splitting of the atom”. He loves an advance in modern science.

Even a cute little club for fans of explorers suddenly seems sinister.

It’s loud, it’s dark, it’s… well, very Michael Bay.
