It has taken three weeks, but finally Paul Hollywood, the "mahogany tiger" himself, has come up with a challenge that had even this year's batch of bakers scratching their heads.

Watch Radio Times writers James Gill, Claire Webb and Ellie Walker-Arnott discuss week three in the Bake Off tent, which featured a stubborn ciabatta challenge and some very soggy showstoppers.

Bread week is traditionally the time where Paul Hollywood rules the roost, and this year was no different, as he prowled round the tent terrifying poor Martha with talk of her "daring" egg wash.

Also this week, we wonder whether Mary and Paul were right to get rid of "captain chaos" Jordan, and recall Richard's look of utter terror when it was revealed Kate had served a bit of raw dough. Guess that's what happens when Paul takes charge...
