Don’t get too excited, but Jamie Dornan and Eddie Redmayne have only gone and done the Ice Bucket Challenge. Together.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star and his celeb pal Eddie have joined a whole host of celebrities who are throwing buckets of ice cold water over their heads to raise awareness and money for degenerative illness ALS, which is known as Motor Neurone Disease in the UK.
It’s a cause likely to be very much on Eddie Redmayne’s mind at the moment – the 32-year-old stars in upcoming film The Theory of Everything, playing scientist Stephen Hawking, who suffers from the disease.
Though obviously all for a good cause, the Ice Bucket Challenge has given us a fun little glimpse into the lives of some of our favourite celebrities too. Yesterday we had Tom Hiddleston (in a very see-through white t-shirt) hanging out in his overgrown back garden. And now we’ve found out that Dornan and Redmayne are clearly the best of friends.
All we need now is for Benedict Cumberbatch to take up Hiddleston’s nomination…
The Theory of Everything will be in UK cinemas 2nd January 2015
