Jorgie Porter's comeback as Theresa McQueen is to air next week when she gets a prison visit from Sonny Valentine (Aaron Fontaine).
In scenes to be broadcast on Bank Holiday Monday, Sonny and Carmel (Gemma Merna) will be seen receiving a visiting order from Theresa, who wants to see her daughter Kathleen-Angel.
But Sonny is to indulge in a spot of double dealing when he turns up at the jail on his own, having told Carmel that Theresa has cancelled the visit. When Sonny and Theresa come face to face, the crafty cop is quick to tell Theresa that it's Carmel who doesn't want Kathleen-Angel to visit.
But it seems that Theresa isn't falling for Sonny's patter and later makes a phone call asking for help. But who is she calling?
Commenting recently, Hollyoaks boss Bryan Kirkwood promised that Theresa - who is banged up for murdering Sonny's brother Calvin - won't be behind bars for long:
"Jorgie Porter is filming with us again and it's a delight to have her back. We underused Theresa in her last year in the show, so now we will see a renewed, reinvigorated Theresa causing havoc in all the right - and wrong - places," the show's executive producer told Inside Soap. "She will get out of prison, but how she manages this remains to be seen."
Porter announced her comeback back in April after just a few months away from Hollyoaks. Speaking at the time, the 26-year-old said: "I am excited to be returning. Theresa is awaiting trial but has some serious unfinished business before then so I am thrilled to be able to come back and finish what we started."
