Giant spider photobombs BBC News

News just in: as BBC Scotland aired its morning bulletins from Glasgow earlier today, there was an intruder camping out on the camera lens – a tiny insect trapped on the screen as broadcaster Graham Stewart delivered a Reporting Scotland segment against a backdrop of the Scottish city's River Clyde.

But it wasn't just viewers who had their eyes on the creepy crawly. Early risers then watched as a giant spider crept across the screen and made a breakfast of the hapless bug – becoming an instant TV and Twitter hit in the process.
