Friends and family may be doing their best to keep Aaron Livesy's (Danny Miller) return to the village a secret, but it looks like a gimlet-eyed Edna Birch (Shirley Stelfox) will be the one to report him to the police.
Fugitive Aaron - who is to make a comeback during Thursday's episodes in order to help out best pal Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) - will be kept hidden away by his nearest and dearest, including Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy (Dominic Brunt).
But unbeknown to everyone, Edna has spotted Aaron leaving the Woolpack and has got in contact with the police. Is he about to be rumbled?
Aaron has been on the run for the past two years after taking the rap for an arson attack on the garage that was actually committed by Adam. But mum Chas is determined that Aaron should be exonerated:
"Chas doesn't think it's fair that Aaron should be on the run when Adam is now going down the wrong path," says actress Lucy Pargeter. "Why should Aaron be taking the blame? She wants him home and for his name to be cleared. She's sick of people thinking he's an arsonist troublemaker."
