Hunger Games star Sam Claflin is swapping Panem's deadly arena for a turn as love-struck teenager Alex Stewart.

The British born actor is starring alongside Lily Collins in new film Love, Rosie. Based on the bestselling novel Where Rainbows End by queen of the beach-read Cecelia Ahern, Love, Rosie tells the story of Alex and Rosie, childhood chums who have the potential to be more than friends, as life and other loves get in the way of their relationship.

This first full length trailer reveals a little more about Rosie and Alex's journey. We now know that after the pair leave college, Rosie gets pregnant while Alex leaves to go and live in America – and then get engaged to his old school girlfriend Bethany (played by Suki Waterhouse)...

The film, directed by Christian Ditter, will be in UK cinemas 17th October
