Amanda Holden will join the line-up of This Morning when Holly Willoughby goes on maternity leave later this year.
The Britain's Got Talent judge will host alongside Phillip Schofield from September to cover the first part of Holly's absence between Monday and Thursday, with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford continuing to front the programme on Fridays.
"I'm over the moon to get the chance to present one of my favourite shows on TV," said Holden, "and I'm thrilled to be keeping Holly's seat on the sofa warm while she goes off on maternity leave.
"I have always been a huge fan of This Morning and love presenting with Phillip so I really can't wait to get started."
"Amanda is a great talent with warmth and charisma in abundance," added ITV Daytime's managing executive producer, Emma Gormley. "We are thrilled to have her join the This Morning family."
Christine Bleakley had previously been tipped to take the reins after hosting the last three series of Dancing on Ice with Schofield. Instead, ITV has confirmed the former Daybreak presenter will take on some duties for the latter part of Holly's maternity cover.
