Ready those leafy bikinis, it looks like Sinitta could be back for the Judges’ Houses round of this year’s X Factor with Mr Simon Cowell.
In Simon’s absence, Sinitta has been on Team Louis Walsh. Although Walsh opted for Sharon Osbourne in 2012, Sinitta joined him in Saint-Tropez last year to choose the final boys and in Barcelona for the 2011 series, in which Walsh mentored the over 25s.
This year however, it seems she’s heading back to Team Cowell.
“I’m going to be back this year working by Simon’s side again, which is fantastic,” Sinitta tells Chronicle Live.
“I love working with him, he’s a lot of fun and a genius when it comes to working with talent on these programmes.”
Sources close to the show say final decisions on judges’ guests haven’t been made, nor have the locations. But let’s hope it’s somewhere sunny if indeed Sinitta has got the gig. She’s already had to brave the cold during her turn on reality ski jumping show, The Jump.
Nevertheless, the pop star, who has just launched her own new single So Many Men So Little Time, is excited about the series and thinks this year’s panel will give the show a boost.
“It should be a good series this year, especially with Cheryl [Cole] back and Mel B joining us and of course Louis.
“I think we will get it back to its best.”
X Factor auditions are underway and the show will return to ITV later this year
