So far all the Batman v Superman hype has focused on Ben Affleck. We've had the furore that surrounded his casting, the collective nerdgasm that followed his Batman costume and a first pic of the Batmobile. Now Henry Cavill gets his moment in the spotlight...
The Man of Steel actor has been pictured for the first time on the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice dressed as Clark Kent.
The photo reveals a suaver version of Kent than was seen in Man of Steel, Cavill's first film in the red cape. Dressed in costume and stood beside a chair labelled "Clark", the British actor is holding up a Marines T-shirt in support of The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund who shared the image on their Twitter account.
Batman v Superman marks the first time the two superheroes appear on screen together as Cavill and Affleck square off alongside Amy Adams (as Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and more, although the hotly-anticipated DC Comics flick doesn't come to UK cinemas until 29 April 2016.
