So the Queen didn't actually make a bid to add the Seven Kingdoms to the Commonwealth during her visit to Kings Landing. But she did, quite literally, take the Iron Throne (or at least a model of it), given to her as a gift during her visit to the set of Game of Thrones in Belfast today.

Her Majesty also met some Westeros royalty, chatting to Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) among other cast as they lined up to greet her in the throne room.

Here's how it happened...

Her majesty enters the throne room at Kings Landing

She spots the Iron Throne...

Left alone for a moment, she heads straight for it...

But she's quickly spotted by the notoriously jealous Cersei Lannister (aka Lena Headey)

Acting like she wasn't even looking at the Throne, Her Majesty pretends to chat to stars Sophie Turner and Rose "You know nothing, Jon Snow" Leslie

But, wait, what's this? "You've got One a Throne...?"

"Oh, I see."

"Yes, very nice..."
