Raging Bull actor Robert De Niro stars as a 70-year-old widower in his new movie The Intern. Bored of retirement, he decides to be an intern at an online fashion website, and discovers the game has changed somewhat.

Les Misérables actress Anne Hathaway plays De Niro's boss, the founder of the site, who gets him running menial errands for her, until she develops some respect for him, realising he has a lot of business wisdom to offer.

De Niro was seen shooting scenes for the movie yesterday, outside the 7th Ave Gourmet grocery store in Brooklyn. Dressed in a pair of glasses, blue cardigan and sand-coloured trousers. De Niro carried a brown bag out of the store, presumably picking something up for his new boss in the film.

To get fans excited, director and scriptwriter Nancy Meyers (It’s complicated, The Parent Trap) posted an image of filming on her Instagram account:

The Intern will also feature other familiar faces, including Rene Russo (Thor), Andrew Rannells (Girls), Adam Anders Holm (Workaholics), Linda Lavin (Wanderlust), Adam DeVine (Pitch Perfect) and Nat Wolff (The Fault in Our Stars).

The movie will be released in September 2015.
