Zachary Quinto is set to boldly go where no other Star Trek actor has gone before… into the messy world of Lena Dunham’s Girls.
The 37-year-old, who plays Spock in JJ Abrams’ reboot of the Star Trek franchise, will appear in the upcoming fourth series of the hit HBO dramedy, which follows a group of dysfunctional twentysomethings as they navigate the ups and downs of life in New York City.
Quinto was spotted filming with Dunham in Brooklyn this week, reports E!. The pair were both seen wearing tops with the words “Ask My My Name” emblazoned on the front, though no official details of Quinto’s role have been revealed.
Girls is created by Lena Dunham, and also stars Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, Jemima Kirke, Adam Driver and Andrew Rannells.
Girls series four is expected to air in early 2015.
