Caroline Flack has announced on Twitter that she is to depart The Xtra Factor.
The 34-year-old told her 1.6 million followers: "After three years of hosting Xtra Factor its [sic] time to pass the baton. It's been incredible and I'll never forget it. How can I when I am married to Louis Walsh? It's all he ever talks about at home. I wish the new team all the best and look forward to watching the new series."
Her replacement has already been unveiled as BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford who will begin her duties shortly ahead of The X Factor's 11th series. She also took to Twitter to share the good news...
And while there is no official word on whether Flack's co-host Matt Richardson will follow her out the door, his account suggests ITV are already on the look out for a new presenter to join Crawford:
Previous hosts of The X Factor's spin-off series have included Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby and Olly Murs, who partnered Flack for her first two years on the show.
Yesterday also saw the unveiling of new X Factor judge Mel B who will join Louis Walsh and returning judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole on the panel for the upcoming 11th series.
