Impressionist Jon Clegg will be the final act in this weekend's Britain's Got Talent final.
The comedian has been announced as the judges' Wild Card entry after losing out to Darcy Oake and Collabro in his semi-final last week.
"I'm on top of the world," said Clegg after being chosen by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon. "I thought I was in with a chance but there were so many strong contenders for the Wild Card.
"I thought Bailey had a good chance – he is hugely talented. Also Light Balance, Innova and Jodi."
Fans of Clegg's act – which saw him impersonate Cowell himself in his first audition – can expect plenty more fresh material when he competes against the ten public-voted acts on Saturday.
"I've got quite a few new impressions planned for the final but I'll be bringing out a few favourites too. I'd say the act will be 75 per cent new material. I'm actually working for the next few days but I'll be rehearsing to make sure I'm 100 per cent ready. I've actually got a couple of gigs. They will give me a chance to try out some new material without giving too much away."
Clegg will join Collabro, Darcy Oake, James Smith, The Addict Initiative, Lucy Kay, Yanis Marshall, Arnaud and Mehdi, BAM, Lettice Rowbotham, Jack Pack and Paddy & Nico when the final kicks off on Saturday at 7:00pm on ITV.
