Director Zack Snyder is throwing Batman and Superman together in one almighty superhero mash-up and the film, set for release on May 6 2016, now has its name: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Filming is already under way with Henry Cavill back as Superman and Ben Affleck stepping into the role of Batman.

We know that the movie will also feature Gal Gadot as future Justice League member Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane reprising their roles from Man of Steel. Jesse Eisenberg will play evil genius Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons is Alfred, and Holly Hunter will appear in a role newly imagined for the film.

We've not long since had that picture of Batman looking all dark and brooding next to the Batmobile. The internet loved that one. So much so that #sadbatman did the rounds on the internet, with Batman being photoshopped into all sorts of different situations, such as alone as his birthday party and getting a parking ticket.

But what does the internet make of this new title and the brand new logo...

Capital letters equal excitement, OK?

As do full stops between each word.

Some have noticed possible errors with the title

Others just can't see past the #fatbat thing

Zack Snyder will be happy that at least some people really get it

For others, there's just no words.

There are fans who just don't think a two film mash-up is enough

Others are already picking sides

Meanwhile, there's some plot ideas rolling around

Even Darth Vader's got some ideas.

But let's face it, this response is just everything.
