If you’ve got plans for 2:10am on Thursday 31st of July you may want to cancel them as Syfy will be showing Sharknado 2: The Second One.
Yep, there’s more sharks flying out of tornado action to be seen this summer (plus, a third one on the way!).
The 2:10am UK showing puts it minutes after the US premiere, although it will be repeated again at 9pm that evening for a more social viewing.
In this installment we’ll see stars Ian Ziering as Fin and Tara Reid as April battle to save New York City as another freak weather storm unleashes a Sharknado on the country’s beloved landmarks.
When the original Sharknado was first released, UK fans had to wait almost a whole month for it to swim (or should that be fly?) its way to our shores.
Not that this seemed to put fans off. After the social media storm it caused in the US, the film went on to be Syfy’s highest-rated film of the year (up to that point), pulling in four times the channel’s usual primetime audience.
