If the last instalment of this dark, dark crime drama left you traumatised, this one (directed by Wainwright) will leave your fingernails bitten to the quick and your heart raw with anxiety.
Sergeant Catherine Cawood (Lancashire), such a reassuring figure in her creaking, bulky high-visibility jacket, asks questions about that derelict house. She and her little team are still grappling with their sorrow, but life has to go on and enquiries have to be made.
