We’ve had our first glimpse of Disney’s new live-action Cinderella movie.
And by glimpse, we really do mean a glimpse.
The film might have a star-studded cast, but they are still being kept under wraps. We don’t get to see Downton’s Lily James as Cinders, Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden as dishy Prince Charming or Helena Bonham Carter’s Fairy Godmother.
The one-minute 16-second teaser just gives us a good ol’ look at Cinderella’s shiny, shiny shoes. Those iconic crystal slippers are rather lovely, though.
And although the teaser doesn’t give much away, the twinkly atmosphere and majestic music certainly reveals something about the kind of classic adaptation Disney are going for.
Disney’s Cinderella also stars Cate Blanchett, Sophie McShera, Holliday Grainger, Derek Jacobi and Stellan Skarsgard. The film, which follows Disney’s 1950 animated film, is directed by Kenneth Branagh.
