There’s no denying Disney’s Frozen took the world by storm.
The chilly princess flick is the highest grossing animated film. Ever. Heck, it’s currently the 6th highest-grossing film of all time, beating the likes of The Lord of The Rings, Skyfall and Jurassic Park.
And thousands of us have had its catchy songs stuck in our head since the start of December.
Five months after its release the hype is just about subsiding, but if you still can’t just Let It Go, ABC are here to help you get your Frozen fix.
That’s right, the live-action fantastical TV series which features characters from well-loved fairy tales, is welcoming a new face.
Elsa, Frozen’s princess with icy magical powers, is set to make her small-screen debut. She first appeared in the final minutes of the Once Upon a Times season three finale, before the ABC show confirmed the news on Twitter, saying:
Once Upon a Time, starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas and Jennifer Morrison, follows characters from classic fairy tales who are trapped in the ‘real world’ fictional town of Storybrooke.
ABC is owned by Disney so the show has free rein when it comes to creating modern versions of the well-loved stories. Elsa can expect to be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Snow White (Goodwin), Prince Charming, Captain Hook, Belle, Rumplestiltskin, Robin Hood, Peter Pan and Red Riding Hood.
In America, viewers will get a good look at the newest addition to Storybrooke in season four, which airs this Autumn. But Channel 5, which has shown seasons one and two, recently revealed it would not be picking up the third season, so it might be a while before we see Elsa over here…
