Dubbed ‘the bearded lady’, cross-dresser Conchita (real name Thomas Neuwirth) led Austria to victory at this year’s song contest, with James Bond-flavoured anthem Rise Like a Phoenix.
The dazzling singer finished a clear 52 points ahead of the Netherlands, with Conchita telling the crowd: “This is dedicated to everyone who believes in a future of peace and freedom”.
Conchita’s appearance on the show doesn’t shift anyone out, rather makes for a cosy night of chat with comedienne Dawn French, actress Kirsten Dunst and adventurer Bear Grylls on the show, too.
It doesn’t look like Conchita will be performing, with singer Sam Smith still listed as providing the night’s musical performance with track Stay With Me.
Of course it will be a Eurovision reunion for Norton and the champ, after he provided the commentary for the BBC’s coverage of the competition. So perhaps he’ll get her to sing a little bit for the crowd.
Away from the Eurovision chat, Dawn French will chat about touring solo, Dunst will discuss her new film The Two Faces of January and Mr Grylls will spill on survival show The Island. Before probably building a temporary shelter with that red chair that flips back…
