Lettice (“like the salad”) Rowbotham (“like rowing, then both, then ham”) is a 24-year-old electric violin player. Her string versions of pop hits wowed the judges on Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent, including Simon Cowell who she dubs “a very clever chap. He’s got his fingers in so many pies.”
With four thumbs up from judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, Lettice has bagged herself a spot in the next round of auditions.
“You had me at ‘hello’,” Holden admitted following this audition:
And this isn’t quite Lettice’s first taste of fame. The plucky performer has featured on an acoustic version of Olly Murs track Heart on My Sleeve. See her here performing in his video:
Emma is RadioTimes.com’s resident reality TV expert and is most likely to be found chasing Simon Cowell down the street, cancelling her social life to keep up with the latest batch of sob stories and trying to get selfies with celebrities. Emma is a chat show addict and quotes Friends more than is probably healthy.
