Alesha Dixon has already made the move from the Strictly Come Dancing panel to Britain’s Got Talent’s judging line-up and Simon Cowell has hinted that her next stop on the talent show circuit could be The X Factor.
“Alesha, I think she would be a great judge on the show. But whether she’d want to as she likes doing Got Talent,” Cowell told TellyMix at yesterday’s Britain’s Got Talent launch.
“We thought about her two years ago for the X Factor.”
But with the time required for filming, perhaps one is quite enough.
The singer herself says, “It’s always very flattering when your name is put to anything like that.
“To be honest, I’ve not given it much thought.”
Cheryl Cole, the only other confirmed judge for 2014, is giving Cowell a helping hand on choosing the remaining panellists. She’s said she wants another female judge, and given Alesha’s strong bond with Amanda Holden on BGT, she could prove a good ally for the former Girls Aloud star.
Cowell has also ruled Rita Ora and Rihanna out of the running for this year’s X Factor, telling the Mirror that Rihanna has never been spoken to.
