Homeland actor Damian Lewis is swapping one spy thriller for another…
The British star, who played Nicholas Brody in the hit Showtime thriller until the shocking series three finale, has joined the cast of Our Kind of Traitor, a big screen adaptation of John le Carre’s novel.
43-year-old Lewis will be joining Ewan McGregor, Stellan Skarsgard and Naomie Harris in the Susanna White directed thriller, which tells the story of an English couple on holiday in Antigua who become caught up in the dealings of a Russian mobster.
Lewis, whose turn as former Marine Brody makes him an obvious choice for the Secret Service drama, is set to play a member of the British Intelligence.
Our Kind of Traitor is being made my Film4, Ink Factory and Potboiler Productions.
The film will begin shooting in London this month.
