Game of Thrones certainly knows how to tease us... Not content with mere previews of their upcoming fourth season, they're now running PREVIEWS of their previews.
The latest comes from HBO's Instagram account which has debuted a 15-second montage of scenes ahead of the show's return to UK screens on 7 April at 9:00pm on Sky Atlantic.
The teaser features exactly what we've come to expect from the adaptation of George R. R. Martin's epic novels: plenty of battle scenes, romping and characters getting wed - although no sign of Sherlock creator Mark Gatiss's new character, Tycho Nestoris.
The Instagram footage comes just one day before a 15-minute behind-the-scenes featurette, Game of Thrones Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing. Airing tomorrow evening on HBO, the special is expected to have a mix of clips, backstage footage and interviews with the cast answering fan questions.
Gatiss joins a number of new additions for the show's fourth season, including Joel Fry (Plebs), Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Gangs of New York), Indira Varma (What Remains) and Pedro Pascal (Homeland) - the latter due to play Prince Oberyn Martell aka The Red Viper.
Series four is expected to pick up from the end of series three, which saw the aftermath of the infamous Red Wedding. While fans were forced to bid farewell to a number of major characters, plenty of the cast are down to return, including Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Natalie Dormer, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Jack Gleeson.
