Tom Hiddleton has been cast as the leading man in Ben Wheatley’s remake of JG Ballard’s novel High-Rise.
The director took to Twitter confirming the news, along with a brand new poster.
Wheatley, who is to direct the first two episodes of Peter Capaldi’s turn in Doctor Who, also revealed filming would start in June.
Hiddleston will be paired up with his Only Lovers Left Alive producer Jeremy Thomas. Kill List writer Amy Jump will produce the script.
For a guy with only 140-characters to spare, he sure didn’t scrimp on the details.
The film charts the lives of affluent residents of a futuristic apartment block in the UK in which all modern amenities are contained, leaving them cut off from the rest of society.
