From cinemas to television screens, Sherlock to 12 Years a Slave, Benedict Cumberbatch seems to be everywhere at the moment. And it looks like the busy actor is set to add a new big-screen thriller to his CV.
Cumberbatch has reportedly signed on to star in the upcoming movie Blood Mountain. It follows a military contractor whose team is attacked and killed, forcing him to escort a terrorist alone across dangerous land, as they fight for survival against their enemies and one another.
The film will be helmed by two-times Oscar-nominated Russian director Sergei Bodorov, reports Variety – and while there's no word yet on which role Cumberbatch will be playing, filming is slated to begin in Morocco this April.
