Rather fittingly for the famous former footballer, Beckham played himself in the 2005 football-themed film Goal! His role? To appear as David Beckham and talk about football. Peachy, really.
Yep, Becks was back for Goal II… and later Goal III. But you get the idea.
In 2008 Becks dropped by Seasame Street for a chat with Elmo. The sportsman was among a host of stars, including Jack Black, Jessica Alba and Heidi Klum who helped launch the 39th season of the show.
We all learnt a little something. Becks likes vegetables and salad, his favourite thing is to play with his kids and he enjoys reading Julia Donaldson’s The Scruffiest Giant in Town to his kids.

In 2009 Beckham joined the England squad in a sketch with Gavin and Stacey star James Corden. Becks and co find their meeting interrupted (they were playing hangman) as Smithy takes a break from plumbing to yell at them for their poor performances.

Back on the children’s television scene in 2011, Beckham headed over to the Disney Channel for an interview with cartoon characters Phineas and Ferb.
Becks ate a bug, fed himself a banana with his foot and showed off a few football skills. Well, he’s game for a laugh, eh?
