The Kumars on Sky1 - what did you think?

During their No.42 days, the Kumars were something of an institution, appearing on the BBC for seven series between 2001 to 2006. After a lengthly hiatus they're back... minus the 42... at their new home on Sky1.

Since we last saw them, the recession has bitten hard, with Sanjeev (Bhaskar), Dad (Vincent Ebrahim) and Ummi (Meera Syal) now residing above Dad's gift shop in Hounslow. But fear not, their new abode still wields the same old pulling power, with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, Broadchurch's Olivia Colman and American comedian Chevy Chase all squirming on the sofa tonight.

But what did you think of the Kumars' new setting? Was it as if they'd never been away? Or do you miss the Sanjeev and Ummi of old? Do you think this new series has the same longevity as their BBC format? And MOST importantly, what did you make of Daniel Radcliffe's shaggy mane?

We want to hear YOUR thoughts so be a dear and post your opinions in the comments box below...
