Think you’d look pretty fly in a razor blade-laced flat cap?
Reckon you can hold your own in a town ruled by gangsters and policed using intimidation and violence (see razor blade caps)?
Are you a young, enthusiastic man?
And, finally, are you free this Saturday?
BBC2 period drama series Peaky Blinders, which stars the likes of Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Sam Neill, Annabelle Wallis and Sophie Rundle, is holding an open casting call in Birmingham on Saturday 11 January to find some new young talent to fill a number of roles in the recently commissioned second series of the show.
The casting team are looking for white males between the ages of 13 and 19, and males of mixed parentage (black/white) between the ages of 15 and 17. No acting experience is necessary, the team are just looking for “enthusiasm and an interest in acting for these exciting new roles.”
If that sounds like your cup of tea, the open casting call is being held on Saturday 11 January between 11:00am and 3:00pm at Vivid Projects, 16 Minerva Works, 158 Fazeley Street, Birmingham B5 5RS. Break a leg, as they say.
The second series of Peaky Blinders, which is filmed in Birmingham, as well as Bradford, Dudley, Leeds and Liverpool, will see the Shelby family expand their empire.
