Wednesday 8 January is the turn of the Bafta Awards but who will get the nod and who will be left disappointed?

The Brits have already emerged as strong contenders this year with Chiwetel Ejiofor tipped by many to scoop best actor prizes for his role in 12 Years a Slave while Judi Dench and Emma Thompson have already been touted in the best actress categories for their respective performances in Philomena and Saving Mr Banks.

American Hustle, Gravity, The Wolf of Wall Street and August: Osage County are all firmly in the mix, but who will be gracing the Royal Opera House red carpet on Sunday 16 February?
